The GHSA team duals wrestling state championships on Friday and Saturday will bring together countless talented wrestlers at six locations across the state as they try to capture a state championship in their respective classes.
The team duals championship locations are Heard County (1A), Columbus (2A), Troup County (3A), Ola (4A), Lassiter (5A) and Buford (6A) while the girls teams will wrestle at Lumpkin County. For the seniors, it could be one of the last weeks of their wrestling careers or maybe the greatest of the great have their eyes set on the college ranks.
The new-look classifications this season create new storylines around the state and entering the new highest class (6A), Camden County will look to continue its dominant run. The Wildcats have won a total of 21 wrestling championships including 10-straight team duals titles. Bradley Patterson, a Class of 2025 Air Force-commit, leads the Wildcats alongside Class of 2026 Northwestern-commit Ryder Wilder.
