In Class AAAAAA, North Gwinnett dropped a 12-11 battle with Allatoona and Lambert climbed to No. 1. Allatoona also defeated Lambert this season, in a 10-8 matchup on Feb. 27. No. 4 Pope and No. 7 Etowah clash Tuesday night and Chattahoochee remains No. 8 after a 12-9 win over Mill Creek last week.
Allatoona’s 12-11 win over North Gwinnett solidifies the Bucs’ standing at No. 1. Buford used a 16-9 victory over Cambridge to improve to No. 9. Cambridge remains No. 6 based off its victories over Greater Atlanta Christian and Wesleyan before the loss to the Wolves.

In Class AAAAAA, Walton dominated Lassiter 16-6 and sits at No. 2 behind the unstoppable Milton Eagles. Undefeated Mill Creek (15-0) defeated Johns Creek 11-7 on Monday and Chattahoochee used a 17-16 thriller with Cambridge to warrant its standing at No. 4. Centennial’s 19-16 loss to Northview dropped the Knights out of the poll and gave Northview room to debut at No. 10.
In Class A-AAAAA, the top 4 remains the same, although a showdown between No. 2 Kell and No. 4 Westminster awaits on Wednesday. A tight 12-11 loss to Lakeside-Evans and a competitive 15-13 loss to St. Pius in the last week, were not enough to drop Marist from the poll and the War Eagles round out the top 10.
