
In Division 1, No. 1 Cambridge takes the top spot after picking up two ranked wins this week. The most impressive was a 14-9 victory over No. 2 Fellowship Christian. Cambridge has won four consecutive games in a rigorous schedule that included Lake Highland Prep (FL), Milton, Fellowship Christian, and North Gwinnett. The Lady Paladins are on a current two-game losing streak and will face Centennial this week. No. 3 Wesleyan went 2-0 this week, picking up wins over Greater Atlanta Christian and Buford. The Lady Wolves will face Starr’s Mill on Monday. Mount Paran and Lovett round out the top five. Blessed Trinity, Holy Innocents, St. Pius X, Starr’s Mill, and Marist round out the top 10. Westminster falls out of the poll after a three-game losing streak.
In Division 2, No. 1 Milton is back on the winning track and went 3-0 this past week, defeating Division 3 No. 7 Alpharetta 18-4, Bishop Ireton (VA) and Glenelg Country (MD). No. 2 Johns Creek defeated North Gwinnett and Harrison this past week and is 13-1 this season. No. 3 Lassiter is on a current four-game winning streak and picked up wins over Roswell, Charlotte Country Day (NC), and Cardinal Gibbons (NC). Chattahoochee and Pope round out the top five. Lakeside-Evans, Decatur, McIntosh, Chamblee, and Greenbrier round out the poll. Greenbrier makes its debut in the poll for the first time. A top 10 matchup will ensue this week as No. 7 Decatur will face No. 9 Chamblee on Monday night. Cherokee Bluff falls out of the poll after a four-game losing streak. River Ridge is on a current seven-game losing streak and follows Cherokee Bluff out of the poll.
In Division 3, No. 1 West Forsyth had an idle week. No. 2 Walton picked up three wins this week over Wheeler, Denmark, and Pope. No. 3 Cherokee picked up a 16-4 win over Marietta. Despite two losses this week, No. 4 North Gwinnett only dropped a spot after losing to state title contenders Johns Creek and Cambridge. No. 5 Lambert is on a current eight-game winning streak. Of those eight games won, the lady Longhorns picked up four against out-of-state opponents. Campbell, Alpharetta, Brookwood, Marietta, and Harrison round out the poll.
