After trailing 17-13 at the half, Archer quarterback Carter Peevy put together a monster performance in the third and fourth quarters, during which he threw two touchdown passes and ran the ball in for two more scores to lead the Tigers to a 48-24 victory over visiting Buford. A 20-yard run by Jeremiah Cook and a 10-yarder by Semaje Banks gave Archer a 13-3 lead early in the second before Buford quarterback Aaron McLaughlin’s 27-yard pass to Xyre Wilson and a 10-yard run by Derrian Brown put Buford back ahead before the half. Brown scored again in the third on a 50-yard run that followed Peevy’s 21-yard touchdown pass to Braylen Weems, but Peevy closed out the quarter with rushing scores of 54 and 16 yards to put the Tigers up 34-24. Emmanual Michel caught Peevy’s second touchdown pass of the night, a 33-yarder, and Banks’ 12-yard trip to the end zone with 3:11 to go provided the final points of the game. Archer outscored Buford 35-7 in the second half.

Class AAAAAAA

Kennesaw Mountain 45, Lassiter 28

Two first-quarter field goals for the Trojans were offset by an 80-yard bomb from Senior quarterback Jarrett Guest to Senior running back Keyon Brooks for a score, and Guest and Brooks made magic again on a 70-yarder to give the Mustangs a 14-6 lead at the half. Lassiter took a 21-17 lead in the fourth, but would be unable to contain the Mustangs’ offense; with 6:49 left in the game, Brooks exploded once more for a 50-yard haul downfield for a touchdown, and Guest hit senior Zayquan Graham with a 35-yard touchdown pass for his third score of the night. A touchdown by the Trojans brought them back within 3 points, but Brooks wasn’t done yet, rushing for a 74-yard score and a 47-yard score to secure the win. Brooks ended the night with a whopping 318 yards on the ground, 162 receiving yards and five total touchdowns.

Meadowcreek 54, Lakeside-DeKalb 14

Meadowcreek quarterback Quincy Bonner, a 6-foot-1 junior, passed for over 400 yard and five touchdowns as the Mustangs overpowered the Vikings. Bonner passed to O.J. Edmonds twice for touchdowns. Edmonds had six receptions for 210 yards. Meadowcreek was down 6-0 at the end of the first quarter before outscoring Lakeside 30-8 in the second quarter to take a 30-14 lead at the half. Meadowcreek outscored Lakeside 24-0 in the second half to put away the game.

Woodstock 38, North Forsyth 21

The Wolverines took over early, outscoring the Raiders 21-0 in the first. Woodstock scored two touchdowns in the game’s first four minutes, including a 31-yard rush from quarterback Dean Braxton. The second quarter was a much closer affair, with both teams scoring 14. North Forsyth’s first touchdown came with 8:26 to go thanks to a 5-yard run from quarterback Carter Mullikin. Dean Braxton had his second rushing touchdown of the game with three minutes left in the quarter. Mullikin threw a 50-yard pass to Charlie Aiken in the final moments of the half to bring the score to 35-14 in favor of the Wolverines. Both teams went scoreless in the third quarter before Woodstock added a field goal early in the fourth. North Forsyth’s Myles Hartsfield picked up a Woodstock fumble for a touchdown with roughly three minutes remaining.

North Gwinnett 41, Discovery 6

After a devastating loss to Walton last week, the North Gwinnett Bulldogs rebounded big against the Discovery Titans. The Bulldogs started things off big by taking a 14-0 lead into the second quarter. They continued to add onto the score, building a 34-0 halftime advantage, and their final score of the game came in the third for a 41-0 lead. It was all about the running game for the Bulldogs; running backs Tyler Goodson and Devin Crosby each had two touchdowns on the night, and quarterback JR Martin added a rushing score of his own to pair with one passing touchdown.

McCallie (TN) 31, West Forsyth 17

It was unfamiliar territory as the West Forsyth Wolverines went on the road to face the McCallie Blue Tornados up in Tennessee. After a scoreless first quarter, West Forsyth’s Drew Southern found Abraham Camara for a 28-yard touchdown pass and a McCallie field goal put the score at 7-3 at the half. Coming out hot, the Blue Tornados gained a 17-7 lead on two back-to-back scores from DeAngelo Hardy. West Forsyth closed the gap with Jake Cummings’ interception return at the end of the third, but McCallie blew open its 17-14 lead with a 30-yard pass from Hardy and Harris Lail 2-yard run by Harris Lail for the 31-17 final.

Brookwood 49, Berkmar 0

Brookwood scored all 49 of its points before halftime’s homecoming festivities and captured its fourth-straight victory. Chris Carter scored a 20 and 24-yard touchdown run and quarterback Connor Chavis threw touchdowns to McKal Fuller and Bobby Ezzard. Eli Kohl finished the half with 137 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.

Mill Creek 33, Duluth 6

Early in the first, Senior quarterback Baxley Harris found Junior running back Parker Wroble on a quick pass, letting his shifty back take the ball 56 yards for the score. Later that quarter, Harris found Wroble again for a 26-yard touchdown pass to take a 13-0 lead. With under a minute remaining in the half Duluth put a kick through the uprights to score its first points of the game. On the first play of the second half, Junior running back Chancellor Lee Parker went 80 yards to secure the score and increase the Hawks lead to 20-3. A pair of fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns from Junior Chandler White and Parker once more helped the Hawks nail down their first region win of the season.

Wheeler 37, Roswell 36

The Wheeler Wildcats, now 5-0 for the first time since 1993, strung together a solid second half to overcome the Roswell Hornets and serve them their first loss of the season. Wheeler struck early in the first to go ahead 6-0, but would allow Roswell to score 19 unanswered points throughout the first half. With under a minute left in the first half, Junior Ricky White caught a pass from Senior Quarterback CJ Ogbonna and took it 20 yards for a score to bring the Wildcats within 7 at the half. Roswell took their second double digit lead at the back end of the third, going up 33-22 with a pair of touchdowns. Ogbonna answered back with a 14-yard rushing score to make it a 33-30 ballgame. A field goal from the Hornets increased their lead to six, but Ogbonna stepped up big by completing a pass to White for the tying touchdown with 45 seconds left in the game. Zack Atkins’ extra point sealed the deal on the Wildcats win and their 5-0 start to the season.

Norcross 51, Central Gwinnett 12

Norcross started strong thanks to three touchdown passes by Louis Williams, including a 44-yarder to Lance Jackson. With roughly four minutes left in the half, Norcross’s Kameryn Jackson scored off a 29-yard run to extend the Blue Devils lead to 31-6, and Central Gwinnett’s Justin Fomby connected with TJ Ellis on a 15 yard pass for a 31-12 score at the half. Norcross outscored Central Gwinnett 21-0 in the second half, including a 54-yard run by Lance Jackson and a 54-yard touchdown reception by Jaylen Green.

Lowndes 71, Valdosta 35

Lowndes running back Travis Tisdale, a three-star recruit, rushed for 413 yards and six touchdowns on 21 attempts to lead Lowndes to 774-yard offensive performance as it blew out rival Valdosta. In the 106-point combined scoring-performance, the two programs combined for 1,390 yards of offense. Lowndes gained 538 yards on the ground with 236 yards passing. Lowndes took a 14-7 lead into the second quarter before pushing the lead to 33-22 at the half. Lowndes took advantage in the second half and outscored Valdosta 38-13 to keep control. Gary Osby rushed for two touchdowns. Israel Mitchell added one touchdown run. Ferringhetti Brown had 136 receiving yards with one touchdown reception. Lowndes quarterback Jacarri Brown passed for 187 yards on 9-of-12 passing. Valdosta quarterback Tate Rodemaker passed for 524 yards and five touchdowns on 30-of-51 passing. Rodemaker found four different receivers for scores. Aalah Brown caught seven passed for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Tarrell Roberts caught five passed for 103 yards and one touchdown. Rajae’z Mosley caught one pass for 59 yards and a touchdown. Jaheim Bell caught seven passed for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Class AAAAAA

Alpharetta 55, Dunwoody 14

The Alpharetta Raiders dominated on offense to win one on the road against the Dunwoody Wildcats. The Raiders scored the only touchdown of the first quarter with a 39-yard pass from Will Gerdes to Austin Frazier around the 8-minute mark before their offense exploded in the second, putting up 35 points in the frame. Gerdes threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Robbie Ruppel, then took it to the endzone himself for 13 yards. The Raiders’ Dante Motley picked up a botched lateral pass by Dunwoody for a 36-yard interception return, Bradley Rowlinson scored of a 13-yard run, and Kent Cherry capped off the scoring frenzy with a 6-yard run. Building on the Raiders’ 42-7 halftime lead, Cherry scored again in the third with a 43-yard rush with 8:25 left and Dylan Merrell found the endzone four minutes later on  a 37-yard run to put Alpharetta up 55-7.

Lanier 30, Lambert 16

Both teams had quiet offensive performance in the first half, with a field goals from Lambert in the first quarter and Lanier in the second leaving the score tied 3-3. Lanier began to pull away in the third quarter thanks to a stellar performance from running back Taj Barnes. Barnes scored three touchdowns on 8, 38, and 63 yards to put Lanier up 23-3 at the end of the quarter. Lambert scored back-to-back touchdowns  in the first three minutes of the fourth, a 20-yard pass from Peyton Rich to Patrick Deans and a 61-yard fumble return by Gallil Guillaume, cutting Lanier’s lead to 23-16 with nine minutes to go. With roughly four minutes left in the game, Lanier intercepted a Lambert pass, and Zach Calzada threw a 30-yard pass to Trey Short with two minutes to go to seal the 30-16 victory.

Allatoona 29, Sprayberry 7

In a Region-6 matchup, the Allatoona Buccaneers went on the road for their third-straight victory at Sprayberry. The Bucs came out strong in the first quarter, with Daniel Parsons opening up the scoring on a 35-yard touchdown run and Jansen Twiggs returning the first of his two interceptions of the night for a 15-0 lead. Sprayberry cut into the deficit in the second quarter for a 15-7 score at the half. Allatoona extended its lead to 22-7 inthe third on a 28-yard run by Cam Moore, and Parson’s second touchdown run secured the 29-7 win over the Yellow Jackets.

Pope 42, Chattahoochee 35

The Greyhounds were the first to strike with a 57-yard trip to the endzone by Zach Owens with 9:21 left in the first. Chattahoochee answered with a touchdown just three minutes later, but a 2-yard run from Joseph Stellmach at the end of the first put the Greyhounds up 13-7. Stellmach scored his second touchdown of the night with 5:58 left in the second, and a 56-yard run by Owens put the Greyhounds up 27-14 at the end of the half. Chattahoochee scored two third-quarter touchdowns to stay in the game, but Kemper Hodges scored on the ground in the third and fourth quarters to keep Pope out front.

Class AAAAA

Carrollton 24, East Paulding 21

Carrollton’s Brandon Marenco scored a 16-yard rushing touchdown with 5:20 left in the game. The two-point conversion gave the Trojans a 24-21 lead after being down 21-10 with :30 left in the third quarter. East Paulding took the lead first on a 5-yard interception return by Jordan Harvey. Connor Smith-McCrum’s 24-yard field goal with 6:55 left in the second quarter cut into the lead 7-3. Trent Lane put Carrollton ahead 10-7 with a 21-yard run, but Tyrell Robinson would answer with a pair of rushing touchdowns in the third quarter (4-yards, 98-yards) to put East Paulding up 21-10. Carrollton’s response was a 71-yard touchdown run by Kashif Taylor with 10:01 left in the game and Marenco’s game-winning 16-yard run. Carrollton gained 381 yards of offense (290 rushing, 91 passing). East Paulding amassed 258 yards of offense (188 rushing, 70 passing).

Rome 49, Cass 14

Host Rome jumped ahead 42-0 before Cass got on the board with 4:19 left in the third quarter. Quarterback Knox Kadum threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Tyreke Griffin and rushed for a 7-yard score to build a 14-0 lead. Running back Jamious Griffin made back-to-back trips to the end zone before Trey Lawrence added his consecutive Rome touchdowns to push the lead to 42-0. Loan Nelson found Malik Grimes for a 50-yard touchdown and Cass’s first points and Nick Wallin connected with Javen Bridges on a 26-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to make it a 42-14 game. Rome’s Malik Ash ran in a 16-yard touchdown with just 18 seconds left for the final tally.

Class AAAA

Marist 41, White County 6

Connor Cigelkse accounted for all three of his touchdowns in the third quarter, helping Marist pull away from host White County. The Warriors trailed just 7-6 in the second quarter following a pair of field goals by Grayson Clark and they were still within striking distance with a 14-6 deficit at the intermission despite Kyle Hamilton’s 67-yard touchdown run with 1:30 remaining in the first half. Marist broke it open by dominating the third quarter 24-0, as Cigelske rushed for one touchdown and threw two scoring strikes to Hamilton. The War Eagles also got a one-yard TD plunge from Lincoln Parker in the opening quarter and a 41-yard field goal by Brendan Farrell in the fourth.

North Oconee 34, Walnut Grove 12

North Oconee recovered its game-opening onside kick attempt and quarterback Kaleb Sherrer found twin brother Kyle Sherrer for a quick 25-yard touchdown to put the Titans up 7-0. The duo found the endzone again and a North Oconee field goal built the lead to 17-0. Teammate Adam Weynand increased the lead to 24-0 with a 9-yard touchdown run, but then Walnut Grove fought its way back into the game. Joc Pledger ran in an 80-yard Warriors touchdown with 4:45 left in the third quarter, but a missed PAT kept the deficit at 24-6. The Warriors scored a 52-yard touchdown through the air on a 4th and 5 call on the first snap of the final quarter, but Walnut Grove’s chance of a comeback was swiftly snapped; North Oconee returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown and used up seven minutes of clock on its following possession, which ended with a 20-yard field goal. North Oconee posted just one victory in its two previous seasons, but this year’s group is 5-1 following tonight’s road victory.

Blessed Trinity 45, West Hall 3

Host Blessed Trinity built a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and led 45-3 before a scoreless fourth. Quarterback Jake Smith completed two touchdown passes to Carson Harof and a 9-yard touchdown pass to James Bryant that put the Titans up 28-0 early in the second quarter. Steele Chambers ran in a pair of first quarter touchdowns and Englan Williams closed out the third quarter with a 29-yard touchdown run. Ethan Chauvin made a 45-yard field goal.

Denmark 61, Chestatee 47

First-year program Denmark visited Chestatee for its first-ever region game and after building a 21-0 lead in the opening quarter, had to survive back-and-forth shootout in the remaining periods. Denmark quarterback Ben Whitlock threw six touchdown passes, including five to Ze’Vian Capers. Chestatee’s quarterback Christian Charles rushed for a touchdown and threw three of his four touchdown passes to Seth Pressley. Denmark’s early 21-0 lead was built with Whitlock’s 81-yard toss to Teddy Davenport, a 24-yard touchdown pass to Capers and a Harrison Halder fumble recovery touchdown that came off a botched snap. The teams traded touchdowns and each failed a PAT in the second quarter and Denmark took a 34-13 lead into the locker room. Charles found Pressley for an 11-yard touchdown just 21 seconds into the second half and then MJ Jarrard capitalized off a Denmark turnover with a 5-yard touchdown run that brought Chestatee within 34-27 with 8:08 left in the third. Whitlock answered with his fourth touchdown pass to Capers (and fifth of the game) and freshman Dee Kunthy intercepted Charles and returned it for a Denmark touchdown to put the Danes up 48-27 heading into the fourth quarter. Chestatee’s Anthony Menjiver ran in a recovered fumble to bring the War Eagles within two scores (48-34), but Whitlock went back to Capers for the duo’s fifth touchdown and sophomore Devin Ducille added a 5-yard touchdown run to put Denmark up 61-34. Charles highlighted the final minutes with a 50-yard touchdown pass to Pressley and a 5-yard touchdown pass to MJ. Jarrard with just 19 seconds left.

Cartersville 21, Cedartown 20

Cartersville carried a 42-game regular season win-streak into Friday’s trip to Cedartown and hadn’t lost a region game since the 2011 season, but it would take a fourth quarter comeback and Cedartown’s missed PAT in the second quarter to come out on top. Cartersville’s offense got off to a strong start, taking its opening drive downfield to set up a 3-yard Harrison Allen touchdown run. Cedartown quarterback Taji Hudson scrambled in for a 21-yard touchdown to even it up 7-7, and Cartersville quarterback Tee Webb answered with his own 21-yard rushing score to put the Purple Hurricanes in front 14-7 entering the second quarter. Hudson broke loose for a 57-yard touchdown, but Cedartown missed the PAT and trailed 14-13 at the break. The Bulldogs grabbed their first lead (20-14) off an interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter, but Cartersville’s Quante Jennings broke the scoring drought and ran in the game-winning 2-yard touchdown with 7:42 left.

Troup 56, Chapel Hill 24

Quarterback Kobe Hudson and the explosive Troup offense were unstoppable in their region opener at Callaway Stadium. Hudson finished the game with six touchdown passes and a touchdown run, leading Troup to a 28-0 lead at the half and a 42-8 advantage late in the third quarter. Hudson threw two touchdown passes to Jamari Thrash and found Ja-Rell Smith on a screen that turned into an 82-yard footrace early in the second quarter. Joko Willis caught three Hudson touchdown passes (75, 55, 1). Hudson’s 14-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter put the Tigers up 48-16 and Tyree Carlisle provided Troup’s final touchdown on a 55-yard run.

Class AAA

Westminster 35, Towers 14

Westminster went on the road and dominated from start to finish, giving head coach Gerry Romberg his 200th career victory. The Wildcats led 28-0 at halftime and 35-0 going in the fourth quarter before Towers finally put themselves on the scoreboard with 8:04 remaining. The Tigers got late touchdown passes from Khalil White to William Booker and Nathan Cox. Paul Weathington scored three touchdowns and rushed for more than 100 yards to pace Westminster, which also got two scores from Chance Loeffler. Parks Harber connected on scoring strikes with both Weathington and Loeffler.

Cedar Grove 45, Lovett 0

Chavon Wright rushed for three touchdowns and Cedar Grove also used a dominant defensive performance to take care of visiting Lovett. Wright scored once in each of the final three quarters, including on a 46-yard run in the third. A touchdown strike from Kendall Boney to Jadon Haselwood got the scoring started for the Saints, who led 7-0 after one quarter, 24-0 at halftime, and 38-0 going into the fourth. Rashad Jordan had a 44-yard touchdown reception, Montre Montfort hauled in a TD pass from Austin Smith, and Oral Ashe tacked on a 30-yard field goal to go along with his six extra-points.

Pace Academy 35, Redan 14

After trading touchdowns on the first two possessions of the game, Pace Academy raced away from visiting Redan for a comfortable victory. Redan scored on its first play from scrimmage, when Dennis Roberson took a lateral from the quarterback and launched an 80-yard touchdown pass to Deljuan Mitchell. It was all Lions the rest of the way, as they took a 15-7 lead after one quarter and had a 35-7 advantage by halftime. Jared Rayman tossed scoring strikes to Jayden Thomas and Justin Johnson, while Johnson also had a 10-yard touchdown run. Pace also got touchdowns from Keashawn Perryman and Lawrence Jordan plus a pair of interceptions by Mbiti Williams.

Calhoun 42, Ringgold 7

Calhoun outscored Ringgold 22-0 in the first quarter and 20-0 in the second quarter to take a 42-0 lead at the half. Calhoun started the scoring on a 25-yard pass from Gavin Gray to Brannon Spector, a Clemson commitment. Bralin Barton’s 8-yard touchdown run with four minutes left in the first quarter pushed the lead to 14-0. Tripp Hoblitzell’s interception and 30-yard touchdown return extended the lead to 21-0. Zack Fuller added to the lead with a 3-yard rushing touchdown with six minutes left in the second quarter. Fuller scored again with just three minutes before the half to give Calhoun a 35-0 lead and Jonkell Tolbert scored the Yellow Jackets’ final touchdown on an 8-yard run.

Greater Atlanta Christian 51, East Hall 20

Greater Atlanta Christian used a flurry of explosive first-half plays to overwhelm visiting East Hall. The Spartans scored on three of their first five offensive plays from 62 yards, 24 yards, and 57 yards away and found the endzone twice more on their next five offensive plays. Josh Rose threw two touchdown passes and also scored a 19-yard quarterback keeper. Jackson Hardy tossed a pair of scoring strikes to Jake Floyd with identical screen passes on back-to-back possessions, one for 30 yards and the next for 49 yards. Beck Naegele added a 30-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to give Greater Atlanta Christian at 44-14 advantage at the break.

Class AA

Hapeville Charter 63, McNair 0

Defending state champion Hapeville Charter took a 42-0 lead and added three more touchdowns within an abbreviated second half at Avondale Stadium to improve to 4-0 and increase its margin of victory to 196-3 this season. Malik Fleming returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and Marcus Carroll (2 yards) and Antavious Bradley (6) each ran for touchdowns in the first quarter. Hapeville Charter widened the margin with a Jeremy Stephens touchdown pass to Judah Johnson and Jameel William’s 25-yard touchdown return off a blocked punt. Damon Francis added an interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter and Carroll returned to the end zone early in the the fourth for his second touchdown run. Cassius Calhoun capped the scoring with a 32-yard rushing touchdown with 1:50 left.

Rabun County 45, Monticello 16

Host Rabun County built a 42-0 lead at the half and was paced by freshman quarterback Gunner Stockton, who accounted for five of the Wildcats’ six touchdowns. Brison Beck put Rabun County on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter. Stockton connected with junior Braxton Hicks on a 22-yard touchdown pass and then ran in touchdowns of 2, 13 and 33 yards before hitting Sam Adams for a 32-yard score with just 44 seconds left in the half. Monticello’s Jaymerious Fleetwood got the Purple Hurricanes on the board with a quarterback keeper in the third quarter and successfully converted the 2-point conversion on that touchdown as well as the fourth quarter interception return touchdown that cut it to 42-16. Rabun County’s Edwin Diaz made a 31-yard field goal with three minutes left for the final tally.

Callaway 49, Temple 0

 Callaway led 35-0 at the half and polished its shutout effort with two interception returns and a fumble recovery touchdown. Quarterback Jacob Freeman threw touchdown passes to Dre Potts and Markus Morman in the opening half. Antinus Barnes returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown to give the Cavaliers a 14-0 lead and Curmondre Bray’s 70-yard fumble recovery put the visitors up 21-0. Four-star junior Tank Bigsby ran in a 68-yard touchdown and a 2-yard score before Charlie Dixon’s 53-yard interception and touchdown return in the fourth quarter.

Class A

Commerce 35, Madison County 8

Visiting Commerce opened up a 14-0 lead in the first quarter with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Samouge Sims to Dylan Deaton and a 1-yard Samuel Roach touchdown run. Nick Patrick added a 6-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and after a scoreless third, put the Tigers up 28-0 with a 7-yard run in the opening minute of the final frame. Daiuan Wood scored the final touchdown for Commerce with a 19-yard run with six minutes left. Madison County’s Traveon Latimore ran in a 1-yard touchdown with under two minutes remaining and quarterback Colby Smith ran in the ensuing 2-point conversion.

Prince Avenue Christian 56, Riverside Military 6

Prince Avenue Christian quarterback Brock Vandagriff found Evan Treadwell for a 61-yard touchdown pass to put the visiting Wolverines up 7-0. Riverside Military answered with a touchdown at the 5:31 mark in the first quarter, but Prince Avenue blocked the PAT to preserve the 7-6 lead and then outscored the Eagles 49-0 from that point. Tyler Payne rushed for touchdowns of 6 and 1 yard in the first half and a 78-yard Vandagriff to Mack Simmons touchdown preceded a Vandagriff touchdown run that put the Wolverines ahead 35-6 at the half.  Vandagriff connected with McKay Melnick for a 7-yard touchdown with 8:04 left in the third quarter, Payne (9) added his third rushing touchdown early in the fourth quarter and Tre Stiles scored on a 58-yard touchdown run with :57 left to make it 56-6.

Wesleyan 24, Holy Innocents’ 16

After a slow start on the scoring end, visiting Wesleyan found the end zone with a minute and half left in first quarter for a 7-0 lead over Holy Innocents’. Trent Bartlett had two interceptions in the second, and the Wolves capitalized with a pair of touchdowns for a 24-0 lead at halftime. After a scoreless third quarter, the Golden Bears scored their first points of the night early in the fourth to cut the deficit to 24-8. Another Holy Innocents’ touchdown made it a one possession game, with only 44 seconds left in the game, Wesleyan held on and secured its second win in a row. Quarterback JC French had a pair of passing touchdowns for the Wolves.
