Top-ranked Archer leads Class 6A ahead of Norcross, Lambert, Harrison and Marietta after victories against Class 4A No. 6 St. Pius X and Class 6A No. 9 Collins Hill.
Against Pius, the Tigers won in a 4-3 shootout after ending regulation tied at 1-1 and against Collins Hill, Archer enjoyed a 2-1 victory to move to 10-0 on the season and 6-0 in Area 4-6A. In Class 5A, River Ridge leads McIntosh, Sprayberry, Johns Creek and Clarke Central in the top 5.
Dalton ascended to the top of Class 4A following former No. 1 Perry’s 2-1 loss to Wayne County on March 11. The Catamounts lead Marist, Westminster, Blessed Trinity and St. Pius X in the top 5. Perry fell to No. 6.
Northwest Whitfield leads Class 3A ahead of Oconee County, Whitewater, Chestatee and Johnson-Gainesville. In Class 2A, Columbus is at the top ahead of Morgan County, Callaway, Appling County and Pierce County.
Thomasville is ranked atop Class A Division I with Model, Toombs County, Bremen and Jasper County in the top 5. In Class A Division II, Metter leads Georgia Military, Dooly County, Towns County and Atkinson County at the top of the class. Hebron Christian tops Class 1A-3A Private ahead of Providence Christian, GAC, Atlanta International and Savannah Country Day.
