Westlake and Peachtree Ridge rode impressive wins over Carver-Atlanta and Norcross and entered the Class AAAAAA top 10 as a result. Also, in the state’s largest class, Grayson dropped to No. 5 while Dacula rose to No. 2.
Houston County and Harris County each made the Class AAAAA top 10 after recent impressive stretches and solid overall resumes.
In Class AAAA, Griffin rose to No. 2 and Woodward Academy to No. 3 after the War Eagles beat previously-undefeated Sandy Creek Friday night. The Patriots, meanwhile, fell to No. 4.
Cook made the Class AAA poll after beating previously-ranked Dodge County.
Finally, ELCA re-entered the Class A-Public poll after falling out earlier in the season. The 2-6 Chargers have quality wins over Landmark Christian and Strong Rock Christian.
