Finally, another Cobb County school is now looking for a new football coach as Kennesaw Mountain’s Scott Jones stepped down after ten seasons with the Mustangs. Jones had been with the team ever since the start of the program, going 40-52 with zero trips to the postseason. The team finished 1-9 this year. Scott’s best year with the team was 7-3 in 2001 and KMHS nearly made the playoffs in 2008 but an upset in the season’s final week denied the team the postseason. Jones will remain at the school to coach physical education.
