Waitlist program for new stadium opens

The Atlanta Falcons today laid out a season ticket waitlist program for the new Atlanta stadium, which is planned to open in 2017.

Under this program, Falcons fans who are not currently season ticket holders at the Georgia Dome may sign up for the new stadium waitlist by placing a $100 refundable deposit to secure their priority. Current Falcons season ticket holders and Georgia Dome executive club members do not need to join the new stadium waitlist or place a $100 deposit as they will have seating priority once the new stadium relocation process begins.

After all current Falcons season ticket holders have had the opportunity to relocate their seats in the new stadium, fans on the waitlist will have a chance to purchase season tickets prior to the general public.

“There is significant excitement surrounding the construction and design of the new stadium. We have received numerous inquiries from Falcons fans who are not currently season ticket holders about the process required to become a season ticket holder in the new building,” said Falcons Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Jim Smith. “The waitlist will allow Falcons fans the opportunity to be a part of what will undoubtedly be the premier stadium not only in the NFL, but in all of North America.”
