The Score 44 is a fluid list that aims to honor the best forty-four seniors in Georgia high school football on a week-to-week basis. These players are some of the most highly-recruited players in the state as well as some of the best players that may not get to play at the next level. A player can play his way onto the list with an outstanding performance, and if a player is injured, suspended or failing to live up to expectations, other players can take his spot on the list. If a player did not make list this week, he has plenty of time to play his way onto the list by the end of the year. The players are also not in any particular order. After the season, we will put the players in order in the Score Final 50.
Northview has not won as many as five games since 2006, but Terrence Upshaw has the Titans in a position to make the postseason with a victory at Pope this Friday. Upshaw scored five touchdowns in a win over Forsyth Central to clinch the No. 3 seed out of Region 7A-AAAAA. He also rushed for 152 yards in the victory and has been a force all season long for Chad Davenport. Meanwhile, Colquitt County’s Bobby Hill hauled in 10 receptions for 143 yards in a must-win for Colquitt County over Coffee. Hill will head to Ole Miss next year as a cornerback, but Rush Propst has been able to use the 6-foot athlete as a receiver to catch passes from former Score 44 quarterback Cole Segraves and 24 2Look4 junior Daniel Mobley.
