Friday night brought two of the biggest upsets that we’ve ween in a while on the high school football scene.
In Week 2′s marquee game, Region 6-AA rivals Lovett and Buford hooked up for a rematch of the 2007 championship game, and the No. 1 Wolves of Buford would find their 50-game regular-season win streak snapped by the No. 7 Lions as Lovett won 28-21. Buford’s I-985 companion Flowery Branch also saw their designs on an undefeated season spoiled by Creekview, which stunned the Falcons 38-35.
