Mitch Hyatt, the No. 2 rated prospect in country for the Class of 2015 is set to announce his college decision on Wednesday, Feb. 5 during North Gwinnett’s National Signing Day celebration per multiple sources. Hyatt is a five-star offensive tackle that is listed at 6-foot-5.5, and 271 pounds and has been a five-star since the beginning of last season. Hyatt made a name for himself by going head-to-head with Norcross five-star defensive end Lorenzo Carter this season before he dominated in the Elite Junior Classic this past December. 247sports recruiting insider Keith Niebuhr has the crystal ball set at 100% that Hyatt will commit to Clemson, however Ohio State and Georgia are other possible contenders for landing the highly-touted offensive tackle.
