In what may have been the biggest win in the program’s history, Tech’s women shocked No. 2-ranked North Carolina Thursday, 66-62, at the Thrillerdome.
The Tar Heels led by as many as 15 points with 17:18 remaining before collapsing late. The Yellow Jackets handed them their third consecutive loss, the first time UNC has lost three straight since 2003-04.
