AJC super-fan Bill King writes in today’s Junkyard Blawg that Dawg fans shouldn’t panic because of the departures while noting that their careers didn’t “quite live up to the promise” they showed coming in. Mark Schlabach, who is basically a Dawg super-fan who’s forced to swallow his homerism because he works for a national media entity (he attended Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism) just gives us the straight facts in his latest ESPN article on the subject. ESPN’s SEC blogger, Chris Low, has a gloomier outlook on the Dawgs’ prospects in 2009.
