SPRINTURF was founded by CEO Hank Julicher, who has been in the sports surfacing business for over 35 years and founded many other specialty sports surfacing companies. If players are competing on it, one of Julicher’s companies probably built it. Julicher’s passion for sports gave him ultimate idea to provide athletes with the highest quality and safest surface to compete on.
Since 1998, SPRINTURF has provided schools, universities, and sports facilities a high performing, durable turf, ideal for multipurpose recreational play all the way up to professional sports like Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia Eagles), and University of Pennsylvania.
SPRINTURF is the only fully integrated synthetic turf company in North America that has 100 percent of its products manufactured in-house and in the USA. Headquartered in The Dadeville factory manufactures the full range of polyethylene, polypropylene and nylon yarns, including the latest generation of multi-shape, dual-color spinneret monofilament yarns, and the exclusive range of mono-tape fibers. The Chatsworth, GA facility houses the tufting, urethane coating and “Easy-Back” coating operations. The Dadeville and Chatsworth facilities have provided yarn and finished turf products for over 1,000 fields in North America.
SPRINTURF has installed more than 900 installations across North America. Their biggest market of clientele extends from the east coast all the way to the Midwest. Over the years, SPRINTURF has helped to develop a number of different types of grass systems with different types of fibers. Due to today’s focus being on the environment, SPRINTURF’s synthetic turf contains no harsh chemicals or pesticides, so it is in healthy and top planning condition for the players. Its product lines include the industry leading Ultrablade, a parallel long slit fiber system, and its dual fiber Ultrablade MM and DFE systems, which SPRINTURF has helped to develop. Its Ultrablade MX turf features a 260-micron elliptical shaped monofilament fiber that provides incomparable durability and natural grass aesthetics to other synthetic grass techniques.
