The football team is not off to a good start after dropping its third game of the season to Lassiter, 24-17. This week, Campbell will travel to face a tough Roswell team that is coming off a close loss to Kell. This will be the first time in recent history that the two teams will face off. It will also be the first time that Roswell’s new head coach Leo Barker and Campbell’s new head coach Shawn Campbell compete against each other as head coaches. … As the softball season winds down, the Lady Spartans look to finish strong on Thursday by traveling to Milton. Last week, the team dropped three straight to Wheeler, South Cobb and Walton after beating Westlake 17-7, giving them their third win of the season. … The volleyball team continued its winning streak last week with victories over Wheeler, McNair, Pebblebrook, and Paulding County. On Thursday they will begin play in the Cobb County Tournament by facing South Cobb at Kennesaw Mountain. The team will carry a 13-10 record going into the game.
