Auburn (Ala.) LB/RB Rashaan Evans dominated in the Tigers’ win over Carver-Montgomery while South Panola (Miss.) rolled past Olive Branch (Miss.) behind Darrell Henderson’s three touchdowns.

Auburn (Ala.) 38, Carver (Ala.) 20: Rashaan Evans scored three rushing touchdowns to pace visiting Auburn over region-rival Carver on Friday. The highly-recruited linebacker forced a fumble while sacking Mike McKenney, and ran in his final touchdown moments later. Adrikus Hall returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown to cut the lead to 24-7, but Tyus Flakes answered with a 23-yard score. Carver tried to get back in the game after an explosive 66-yard touchdown reception from Landy Capetillo, but Samuel Allen iced the game with a 44-yard interception return for the touchdown.
South Panola (Miss.) 40, Olive Branch (Miss.) 21: South Panola quarterback Rip Kirk found L.J. Carr for a 45-yard touchdown pass and Reginald Morris for a 20-yard touchdown before Tigers running back Darrell Henderson capped off a 20-point opening quarter with a 49-yard touchdown run. KyKy Austin scored on a 70-yard interception return to cut the lead to 20-13, but Oluwain Hoskins answered with a 1-yard touchdown run just before the half, making it 26-14 after the failed 2-point conversion. Henderson added another rushing score in the third quarter and then Kirk found Henderson for a 53-yard touchdown pass to make it 40-14. Austin scored on a 92-yard fumble recovery to give Olive Branch its final touchdown.
Sandy Creek (Ga.) 21, Troup (Ga.) 0: Visiting Troup held the Patriots scoreless in the opening quarter, but Sandy Creek’s Delvin Weems opened the scoring on a 7-yard touchdown run. Cole Garvin found Demarre Kitt minutes later for a 60-yard touchdown pass and Sandy Creek took a 14-0 lead into the half. Eric Swinney added a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
University (Fla.) 63, North Broward Prep (Fla.) 0: Visiting running back Jordan Scarlett ran for two touchdowns in the game Friday. Lajuan Hunt added another touchdown in the opening quarter to put the Suns up 21-0. University quarterback Sean White was equally stellar, going 13 of 15 with 172 yards and two touchdowns. Undefeated University will face Glades Central next week.
Fulton (Tenn.) 61, Pigeon Forge (Tenn.) 0: Fulton breezed past host Pigeon Forge behind their running back Daryl Rollins-Davis, who had four rushing touchdowns of seven, 24, 37 and 48 yards. He scored his fourth touchdown in the third quarter and, with the score 47-0, Rollins-Davis’ night was over. Wide receiver Xaviar Hawkins added three touchdowns in the rout, two receiving and one punt return for a touchdown.
Goose Creek (S.C) 48, Beaufort (S.C.) 7: In this battle of unbeatens, visiting Goose Creek was paced by Tyrik Johnson’s three touchdown runs. Beaufort kept it interesting by completing a Ben Vaigneur 16-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Baggett with six seconds remaining in the half and cutting the Gators’ lead to 21-7. Darrin McNeal, Jordan Barnes and Caleb Kinlaw scored touchdowns to help Goose Creek cruise to the win.
