The Rockdale County soccer program truly embodies Bulldog school spirit. Friday evening, after the girls fell short against Alcovy, the boys team was quickly on the field to show support for the girls’ efforts. The girls responded by cheering loudly as Sonic and Score awarded Rockdale County goalkeeper Eric Alvarez the Sonic High School Player of the Week award. Rockdale County head coach Alf Holst selected Alvarez to the delight of nearly every other Rockdale County soccer player.
Congratulations to Eric. Sonic is a proud supporter of Georgia high school sports and will be on hand at events all next week, handing out awards for lacrosse, baseball and soccer.
