The old adage of practice makes perfect was proven true by Tuesday’s Sonic High School Player of the Week. Sonic was on hand at Peachtree Ridge last night and honored Cesar Adrianzen as the Lions’ Player of the Week.
Peachtree Ridge boys soccer head coach Ryan Sutton revealed Adrianzen as his player of the week for performing incredibly well in practice to earn playing time in the Lions’ prior game against Meadowcreek. Once in the game, Adrianzen played well at his spot at midfielder and the left-footed Adrianzen solidified his spot in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future.
Sutton revealed that Adrianzen proved to the coaching staff and his teammates that he was willing to work hard and maximize his talents through hard work and dedication.
Sonic’s Billy Wright proudly presented Adrianzen with the player of the week plaque before the Lions dispatched Habersham Central 3-2. The Peachtree Ridge girls also won, taking out the visiting Raiders of Habersham Central 4-0.
Congratulations to Cesar. Sonic is a proud supporter of Georgia high school sports and will be on hand at events all week, handing out awards for baseball, soccer and lacrosse.
