The North Cobb boys soccer team picked up an important road Region 4-AAAAAA victory over Hillgrove last Tuesday, improving the Warriors’ region record to 3-1. Before the Warriors’ home game Friday night against Harrison, Sonic presented Robert Len with the Sonic High School Player of the Week Award. North Cobb head coach Zachary Mathis nominated Len for the honor based on his recent performances both on the field and off.
Greg Comer of Sonic presented Len with the award in a ceremony before the Warriors and Hoyas got down to business. Despite Len’s best effort, the Warriors could not hold off Harrison, who led 1-0 at intermission but quickly jumped up 3-0 before winning 4-1.
Congratulations to Robert. Sonic is a proud supporter of Georgia high school sports and will be on hand at events all week, handing out awards for baseball, soccer and lacrosse.
