The Kell boys soccer team has experienced some dramatic comeback victories over the past few weeks and several of those victories have come thanks to the foot of standout forward Will Cullom. Cullom got the Longhorns off to a strong start Thursday, netting two early goals to help spark Kell against region foe Osborne.
While Osborne eventually rallied to pull out a 3-2 victory late over the Longhorns at the Stockyards, Sonic and Score were on hand after the game to honor Cullom for his efforts not just Thursday but for the past few games as David Penny’s team had won six straight prior to the loss.
As Cullom was presented with the award, teammates cheered and the girls team momentarily stopped warming up to acknowledge Cullom’s ceremony.
Congratulations to Will. Sonic is a proud supporter of Georgia high school sports and will be on hand at events all next week, handing out awards for baseball, soccer and lacrosse.
