Softball looking to get back to winning ways after 4-0 start

After starting the season 4-0, the softball team has lost three straight games. The games haven’t been especially close, either. The Lady Pythons suffered a 10-1 defeat to Pace Academy on Wednesday. They followed that up with an 8-0 loss to Region 7A-A opponent Providence Christian on Thursday. The team will try to get back on track this week with a Thursday trip to Whitefield Academy at 5 p.m. Then on Monday, at 4:30 p.m. , the Pythons play host to Galloway . … The volleyball team is now 3-1 after cruising to a straight-set victory against Yeshiva on Thursday. The Lady Pythons will look for revenge against Greenforest Christian, which defeated them on Sept. 4, on Thursday at 5 p.m. Hebron Christian Academy and Greater Atlanta Christian await the Pythons for two Saturday morning matches. Then it’s another match against Yeshiva on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. … The boys cross country team finished 15th at the Carrollton Orthopedic Clinic Invitational. Karl Kingma was the top finisher for the Pythons with a time of 20:20 . The team now has the week off before returning to action against Heritage at Conyers Horse Park .
