Softball blows past St. Francis 15-0 before facing busy week

The boys cross country team finished No. 9 in Class A last year and they are looking to improve upon that finish this season. They face an intriguing test on Saturday when they run at the Carrolton Invitational. The race, which takes place at Carrollton, will serve as a nice measuring stick for the Pythons, as top teams such as Brookwood, Parkview, and Woodward are scheduled to attend… The volleyball team split a doubleheader at Greenforest. The Pythons lost the first match in straight sets, before winning the second matchup in consecutive sets as well. They face a busy upcoming week. Yeshiva visits the Paideia Gym for a 5:30 p.m. matchup on Thursday. The team then hosts Decatur on Monday at 5 p.m. and Avondale and Druid Hills the following day beginning at 4:30 p.m. … The softball team annihilated St. Francis on Thursday by a score of 15-0. The game was called after three innings with the mercy rule coming into effect. They travel to Pace on Wednesday at 5 p.m., to Landmark Christian on Monday at 5 p.m., and to Wesleyan on Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. start.
