Snelling to walk for epilepsy; Dimitroff, Smith and Ryan to be honored on March 31

Jason Snelling will help to raise awareness for epilepsy, a disease he is afflicted with, and caused him to miss a year of football in college at the University of Virginia. Snelling was officially diagnosed with the disease ten years ago.

The running back will take part in the National Walk for Epilepsy in Washington D.C. The walk takes place on Mar. 28, and Snelling has started a team for the event.

AWARDS CEREMONY NEARS

The Sporting News honored several Falcons this season, as Matt Ryan (rookie of the year), Mike Smith (coach of the year), and Thomas Dimitroff (executuve of the year) were all awarded by the national magazine.

They will be recognized for the achievements on March 31 from 7:30-9 a.m. at a special breakfast, which will take place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta. Tickets are $45 per person and $450 for a table of 10.
