In the Crimson Tide’s seventh-ranked recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, Harmon is the third player from Georgia to commit to Alabama, joining Mill Creek’s Luke Metz and Dodge County’s Darrell “Duke” Johnson. He is the sixth 4-star in Alabama’s class as the Crimson Tide’s new staff has added a multitude of linebackers to its recruiting class.
According to 247Sports, Harmon held over 35 offers, including prestigious schools such as Texas, Michigan, Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon.
In his first two seasons playing varsity football Harmon has accumulated over 100 tackles, including a pick-six his sophomore season. In his junior season, the 4-star linebacker totaled 80 tackles including eight TFL, five sacks, five quarterback hurries, three pass breakups and an interception, making an impact all over the field for the Wolves last season.
Harmon played a large part for the Rome defense, and helped the program finish with an 11-2 record and advance to the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state playoffs. For his play on the field he was voted as an All-State selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
