RECRUITING NEWS: UGA hosts a beavy of recruits

Hoops prospects Brandon Morris, Brandon Watkins, Desmond Ringer, Eric Wortham, A.J. Davis, Harold Givens, Isaiah Dennis, and several 2014 and 2015 prospects will be in Athens this weekend visiting UGA. Morris and current Bulldog commits Kenny Gaines and Charles Mann will be on their official visits. … Eastside DB Dante Blackmon committed to Indiana on Friday over an offer from Buffalo. … Alabama commit Dillon Lee is visiting Georgia this weekend on an unofficial visit for the Bulldogs’ game with South Carolina. This shouldn’t be anything to worry about for Bama fans, as Lee’s brother plays for the Dawgs. He is still strongly committed to the Tide. … Another Wolf, tight end Kurt Freitag, plans to visit Alabama, Florida and Florida State before making his college choice. According to Michael Carvell of the AJC, Freitag had planned to make his decision Friday night, but changed his mind. … DB Corey Tindall, currently with the Atlanta Sports Academy in Dawsonville, has committed to Florida International. Tindall is from Fort Lauderdale, but enrolled at ASA to improve eligibility requirements after signing with FIU in February. … Stephenson’s T.J. Moon committed to FAU on Monday. The running back played for Union Grove last season, but transferred to SHS in the offseason. Moon makes the 13th college commit on the Jaguars this year.
