There is one week left in the GHSA soccer season with the playoffs beginning in one week with the girls first rounds for Classes 6A, 5A, 4A and Division II. Boys teams from those classes will play April 23. On April 24, the girls from Classes 3A, 2A, Private and A Division I will compete in their first rounds.
In the state’s highest class, Grayson still leads the way in the year’s final regular season rankings. The Rams are ahead of Archer, Norcross, Carrollton and Lambert in the Class 6A top 5.
River Ridge tops Class 5A with McIntosh, Johns Creek, Sprayberry and Woodward Academy at the top of the class. In Class 4A, Dalton is ranked ahead of Marist, Westminster, Blessed Trinity and St. Pius X in the top 5. Northwest Whitfield leads Class 3A with Oconee County, Whitewater, Johnson-Gainesville and Mary Persons chasing.
Jeff Davis leads Class A Division I ahead of Model, Toombs County, Bremen and Thomasville. Georgia Military is atop Class A Division II with Atkinson County, Metter, Towns County and Lake Oconee Academy.
In Class 1A-3A Private, Hebron Christian is atop GAC, Whitefield Academy, Atlanta International and Providence Christian in the top 5.
