Player of the Week, Sept. 10 – Lori Spingola, Marist

Spingola is arguably the best pitcher in the state, and she’s just a junior. The Marist hurler went 26-6 with 13 no-hitters and a 0.31 ERA last year, and will try and help the Lady War Eagles win the state championship that has thus far eluded the program (the team finished in third place last year). Spingola is a member of the East Cobb Bullets club team.
