Player of the Week, October 15 – Kylie Womack, Walton

Womack took first at the Cobb County Championships back on Sept. 27 with a season-best time of 19:45.76. She also finished 11th in a very competitive field at the Berry High School Invitational on Sept. 6. Womack, a junior, hopes to improve on her 15th-place finish at last year’s state cross country meet. She has been a runner since fourth grade and currently is a coach for Walton’s 8-and-under girls.
