Player of the Week, January 7 – Blanche Alverson, Buford

The senior forward scored 18 points against Gainesville last Saturday, leading the Wolves (8-1) to a 52-47 victory. The performance came four days after Alverson notched nine points, seven rebounds and four assists in a win over Peachtree Ridge. Alverson is the No. 45 overall prospect according to ESPN.com’s Hoop Gurlz, and has committed to play college basketball at Auburn.
