The football team continues to climb in the recent polls and the team will look to continue to move up after a win over Dacula on Youth Night. Running back Ean Pemberton was held under 100 yards and did not score, but fullback James Earl Jones had two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) and Harrell Gunn added a score in the Rams’ 27-7 victory. Greg Zellner also found paydirt in the win. The Rams will battle South Gwinnett on the road on Friday. … The softball team earned possibly the team’s biggest win of the young season last week with a 4-2 victory over Brookwood. Ashley Berger threw a complete game for the Lady Rams and was helped out with early run support. Savannah Berkhiser got the action going with a two-run double and later scored on an error. The Lady Rams tacked on a late insurance run after the lead was trimmed to 3-2. Ariel LaRocca scored two runs for the Lady Rams and was 2-for-4 in the contest. The team was not as successful against Dacula, however, losing 9-0.
