Score Atlanta and CBS46-affiliate PeachtreeTV are teaming up this football season to deliver the most extensive high school football coverage in Georgia history. This exciting endeavor will have the 2021 season covered from start to finish and includes a trio of premier gridiron events that will result in an unprecedented 31 total games being broadcast this year. The action begins Wednesday, Aug. 18, with the 30th Annual Corky Kell Classic where a total of 11 games will be played over the course of its four-day lineup. The third Annual Great Atlanta Bash will be broadcasted the following weekend and includes a trio of matchups that will be played at Eddie S. Henderson Stadium—formerly Grady Stadium on Friday and Saturday. After the first two jam-packed weekends, beginning Friday, Sept. 3, ‘The Drive for the GHSA State Title’ begins with one top matchup featured per week for the remaining 10 Friday nights of the regular season. These games will be among the best matchups around the state and the schedule the first four weeks will likely include either the top-ranked team or the No. 2-3 team in Class 7A, Class 6A, Class 5A, Class 2A and Class A Private. The style and overall approach in terms of coverage will be similar to nationally televised games featured on ESPN in recent seasons and include many of the top players in the state. Outstanding partnerships have helped make all this possible, and each broadcast will have a top-tier digital team, on-air talent, experts and guests all working together to capture the excitement and make Score Atlanta and PeachtreeTV the home of Georgia high school football. Additionally, there will be one game selected in each of the first four rounds of the state playoffs before the ninth annual Georgia Elite Classic closes out the final three broadcast with a star-studded triple-header including the first eighth-grade All-Star Game ever televised in Georgia. More details about the full 31-game lineup and all the ways to follow the action will be released Friday with an official announcement so be sure to stay tuned.
