Morgan Bullock pitches six perfect innings, strikes out 13 in 8-0 victory

The football team kicked off the season with a 2-0 record, but had a setback last Friday when the Hawks ran into the Norcross defense and were defeated 19-0. The Hawks were held to 37 yards rushing. Mill Creek’s defense still played well, however, and the team is a solid 2-1. The Hawks take on Duluth in their Homecoming Game this Friday. … Florida State commitment Morgan Bullock was unhittable for six innings and struck out 13 batters to beat Duluth 8-0 last Wednesday. Bullock also scored four of the softball team’s runs. Bullock pitched another shutout last Friday to defeat South Forsyth 6-0. The Hawks travel to Greater Atlanta Christian to play Creekview and GAC this Wednesday at 4 p.m. … The volleyball team (13-8) went 1-1 last Thursday, defeating South Gwinnett , but losing to Chattahoochee . This Thursday, the Hawks face Tucker and Parkview. … The girls cross country team finished ninth in the Carrollton Invitational last Saturday. Lauren Scott led the girls with a time of 23:12 . The boys and girls will both run in the Gwinnett County Meet this Saturday.
