Miller Grove, Norcross roll in Tribute to a King Hardwood Classic

The state of Georgia flexed its basketball muscles on Monday at Centennial High School as nine of the state’s best basketball programs and one out-of-state program convened to show off in front of a crowd full of college scouts and coaches as well as metro-area basketball fans.

Miller Grove, No. 5 in the Scoreatl.com Power 15, took it to host Centennial in a competitive 86-72 affair. Centennial was led by N.C. State commitment Lorenzo Brown, who poured in 19 for the Knights.

After leading by four at the half, the Wolverines extended their lead to 10 by the end of the third. Centennial would get no closer the rest of the way.
