McEachern flag football undefeated, ranked atop Division 4 standings

McEachern is 13-0 overall and 5-0 in Area 3 and ranked atop Division 4 while leading Paulding County, South Forsyth, Central Gwinnett and Denmark in the top 5.

The pass-heavy Indians can thank a trio of players for a major part of the program’s success – senior quarterback Chelsea Njoku, junior receiver Desirae Holley and sophomore receiver Ava Couzens.

Njoku is 154-of-259 passing for 2,097 yards and 41 touchdowns while rushing 42 times for 187 yards and three touchdowns. Holley has 36 catches for 577 yards and 13 touchdowns while Couzens adds 31 receptions for 369 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Junior receiver Cayley Windham has 20 catches for 348 yards and six touchdowns, sophomore Amari George has 22 catches for 353 yards and five touchdowns while five other receivers combine for eight touchdowns.

Colquitt County, Grayson, Lambert, Hillgrove and Greater Atlanta Christian round out the Division 4 top 10. In Division 3, Blessed Trinity leads Pace Academy, Pope, Milton and Langston Hughes in the top 5.

Locust Grove tops Division II and leads Clarke Central, Jackson County, Loganville and Oconee County. Southeast Bulloch tops Division I and leads Dodge County, Harris County, Columbus and Redan.
