Senior Marietta linebacker Anthony Kruah announced that he has decommitted from the University of North Carolina and announced his commitment to stay home and continue his football career playing for the Georgia Bulldogs.
The linebacker is rated as a 3-star on 247Sports and is rated as a top-100 player in the state of Georgia.

A a junior last season, Kruah totaled 70 tackles including 10.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks and an interception returned for a touchdown in what was an incredible year for him in 2024.
This season, Kruah has continued to do more of the same.
He has totaled 50 total tackles, a team-high 15 tackles for loss, including seven sacks. The Bulldogs-commit has had opportunities playing both ways for Marietta, establishing himself as a two-way star on the gridiron. While playing on both sides of the ball for the Blue Devils this season, the senior has totaled 147 yards on the ground on 20 carries to go with four rushing touchdowns along with 378 receiving yards and four touchdowns to add to his impressive season. Kruah is averaging 18 yards a catch with a longest catch of 80-yards already recorded this season.
While he ultimately decided Georgia will be his home for the next several seasons, Kruah reeled in plenty of offers from schools all around the country such as Baylor, Auburn, Michigan, Boston College and Memphis.
The 3-star is joining an elite recruiting class down in Athens that stacks up with some of the best homegrown defensive recruits in recent memory. Georgia has already received commitments from some of the top talent in the country such as 5-stars, Elijah Griffin, Isaiah Gibson, Zayden Walker, Todd Robinson, Jontae Gilbert and a handful of some of the top defensive talent being produced in the state in their 2025 recruiting class.
Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs currently hold the third-best recruiting class in the nation behind Alabama and Ohio State, and are continuing to bring in players such as Kruah to bolster next years class.
