Main edition – November 27-December 1

Cover story: The first week of December means football conference championships, and this season Atlanta will have a vested interest in two title games. The SEC Championship Game will once again be held at the Georgia Dome this year, and Alabama and Florida will duke it out for a spot in the national title game. Georgia Tech has a chance to win its first outright ACC title since 1990 when it takes on Clemson in Tampa.

Rosenberg gives us another version of his Thanksgiving columns (the concept which, admittedly, he took from longtime AJC columnist Furman Bisher). … Tech beat writer Ricky Dimon and UGA reporter Stephen Black look at the upcoming rivalry game from the perspective of each team. … In the Spin Cycle, Scott Janovitz discusses Georgia’s latest loss on the gridiron and the beginning of the Mayweather-Pacquiao talks. … Josh Bagriansky looks at the Falcons’ Sunday game against the 1-9 Buccaneers.
