Loganville, Parkview top initial baseball poll

Cobb and Gwinnett fill most of the Class AAAAAA rankings, as a multitude of teams in each county is stacked with talent. In Class AAAAA, nationally-ranked Loganville is a runaway No. 1 team while undefeated Gainesville is second. Three-time defending champion Columbus holds the top spot in Class AAAA while Marist and Crisp County have gotten off to strong starts. Metro Atlanta private schools Lovett and Wesleyan are the class of AA while GAC and Westminster are also ranked. Buford and Appling County, the past two champions in AA, top the AAA rankings so far this year.

    How about a 9-0-1 Bremen team in AA?

    Loganville may be the best team in recent memory. But Grayson and Parkview have amazing talent. We’ll see, but if Loganville doesn’t win aaaaa, I would be greatly surprised.
