Staley is a two-sport star that picked up offers from Mississippi State and Appalachian State for both football and basketball. Staley quarterbacked the Wildcats to the playoffs last season before jumping in with the basketball team to also make the postseason. Boston College offered Staley yesterday as just a football player. App State, which just announced it would be heading to the Sun Belt also offered Allen, a safety with the football team. He reportedly has 15 other offers. … ECU was busy Tuesday, offering Columbia offensive lineman Terronne Prescod according to ESPN’s Kipp Adams. … Tyler Queen of North Cobb will just be a junior but that didn’t stop another NC from offering as Larry Fedora of UNC offered Queen recently. Queen passed for 2,607 yards and 23 scores and rushed for 925 more yards and 20 additional touchdowns as North Cobb reached the Class AAAAAA semifinals. … Nick Ruffin of St. Pius X told ESPN that Kansas State has offered. … Late last week several recruits took to Twitter to announce that various schools had offered. Chris Laye, a 6-foot-5 tight end from Lambert was offered by South Florida. He also holds offers from Virginia, Vanderbilt, Boston College and Louisville. Also, Norcross running back Myles Autry revealed that NC State offered, joining 25 other teams that have extended scholarship offers, including schools from the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big East, Pac-12 and Big XII. … In hoops news, Westside-Augusta’s Frank Booker committed to Oklahoma late last week. Booker is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard that averaged 28 points and 14 rebounds per game as a senior. Finally, Isaiah Dennis of Eagles Landing committed to Georgia State just weeks after helping Eagles Landing to the Class AAAA state title.
