Jordan DeArmon pitches no-hitter in rebound win over Shiloh

The football team, fresh off a big win over Chattahoochee in Week 2, traveled to Berkmar for a Region 8-AAAAA tilt last Friday. The Panthers were paced by Brandon Jacobs’s three touchdowns while TaRon Squires also notched a score. The final score was 28-7, as Parkview notched the region win. The Panthers face Meadowcreek on Friday. … The softball team saw its four-game win streak snapped in the Columbus-Shaw Invitational last week. Greenbrier shut out the Lady Panthers 5-0, but Parkview still finished with a 3-1 record in the tournament. Back in region play, however, the team suffered its first region loss to Dacula, as the Panthers were shut out 2-0. They rebounded with a Jordan DeArmon no-hitter against Shiloh in a 9-1 victory. … The volleyball team beat region foe Brookwood last week 2-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-17). Audrey Hipple’s 10 aces and 13 kills paced the Panthers. Parkview later fell to Oconee County 2-0 but then went 3-0 at the Collins Hill Classic, defeating North Hall, Collins Hill and Providence .
