Michael Vick, who is temporarily out of his Leavenworth, Kan., prison to attend a bankruptcy hearing in Virginia, has been addressed by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. The no-nonsense Goodell, according to reports in USA Today and other publications, wants Michael Vick to show “remorse”, as he puts it, in order to regain favor with the league and earn reinstatement.
Vick is scheduled to be released from federal prison on July 20, at which time Goodell will make a ruling on Vick’s status with the league. Goodell suspended Vick in August of 2007.
