A familiar face is out of the rankings for the first time this season. After a 20-0 loss to Dunwoody, Marist is out of the Class 4A top 10.
Lovejoy benefited by the fall of the War Eagles and entered the rankings at No. 10. Also in Class 4A, Thomas County Central fell to No. 9 while Chattahoochee and Starr’s Mill moved up to Nos. 7 and 8, respectively.
In the state’s largest classification, Norcross and East Coweta entered the rankings for the first time this season. The Blue Devils beat Peachtree Ridge and, as a result, the Lions fell out of the rankings for the first time all year. Meanwhile, the Indians are one of just three unbeatens in the classification.
In Class 3A, Washington County moved into the rankings at No. 10 while Burke Co., Ridgeland and Gainesville all moved up one spot.
Class 2A saw the most changes, as six schools moved in the top 10. Swainsboro, Westminster, North Oconee and Thomasville all moved up one spot while Lovett entered at No. 10.
