5A is a yawner until the finals. It’s McIntosh and Sequoyah. End of story unless something MAJOR happens.
All other Elite 8 matchups should be blowouts. And a few of the Final 4 matchups will be the same.
Here is where GHSA made a big mistake. They had 4 State Tournaments. 128 teams playing for state titles. They had X number of good teams. NOW we have 168 teams playing for state titles and STILL have only X number of good teams. They watered down EVERY division by making this 6 classifications. It makes virtually every match a blowout until the Final 4 and even then in some cases. The only exception is 6A.
