Following our series of positional breakdowns of the top programs in the state of Georgia, the results are in. Score Atlanta’s Craig Sager II and Seth Ellerbee did a top 10 for eight different position groups (Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Receivers, Offensive Line, Defensive Line, Linebackers, Defensive Backs and Specialists) that ranked the state’s top schools for each category. A total of 49 different programs made appearances in one or more top 10. In order to determine which schools performed the best overall, we applied a point system to compile the results. For example, North Gwinnett’s No. 1 ranking for Quarterbacks awards it 10 points. A No. 2 ranking results in nine points, a No. 3 ranking results in eight points and so on.
