The early signing period began at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19 and will end at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21. Last year was the first time that the early signing period was introduced to the recruiting process and nearly 80 percent of all the prospects that were committed to a school heading into the early period a year ago turned in their letters of intent—according to 247sports.
