Woodward Academy 48, Riverwood 0

How the game was won: Woodward Academy took control right from the start, racing to a 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter at the expense of visiting Riverwood. Things did not get much better for the Raiders–at least not until a running clock brought a swift end to the second half. The War Eagles led 41-0 at halftime before tacking on one more meaningless touchdown in the third quarter. They finished with 297 yards of total offense, with a balanced attack producing 167 passing yards and 131 rushing yards.

Top performers: Ryan Glover completed 11 of 12 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns to lead Woodward. He tossed both of his scoring strikes in the first half into the hands of Hunter Falconer–one from 45 yards out in addition to a 15-yarder. Jalen Polk paced the rushing effort with 50 yards and two touchdowns on just four carriers. The War Eagles also scored on defense and special teams. Cade Sutherland returned an interception 18 yards for a touchdown to make it 35-0 and Jeffrey Hubbard capped off the scoring with an 84-yard punt return.

Blessed Trinity 24, Creekview 12

How the game was won: Creekview rallied from down 17-0 to cut the gap to 17-12 in the fourth quarter, but a Steele Chambers 44-yard touchdown run put the game out of reach.

Top Performers: Steele Chambers powered in all three touchdowns for Blessed Trinity highlighted by a 49-yard run and a game-clinching 44-yarder. Brooks Hosea added a field goal.
