Archer 38, Shiloh 21: Guard Mitch Hornsby recovered a fumble by running back Sean Fowler for the first touchdown in the host Tigers’ win over Shiloh. Fowler made up for the fumble with 202 yards and two scores. Quarterback Gabe Tiller was efficient for the Tigers in completing 15 passes for 231 yards and a scoring strike to Will Kone.
Brookwood 45, Dacula 17: Broncos head coach Mark Crews won his 100th game thanks in large part to four touchdowns by Josh Brown. Marcus Cox did everything he could for the visiting Falcons, rushing for two touchdowns on 13 carries for 88 yards.
Collins Hill 41, Peachtree Ridge 10: The visiting Eagles coasted to a win over Peachtree Ridge thanks to the backfield tandem of Tyler Henderson and quarterback Brett Sheehan. Henderson scored three touchdowns and gained 110 total yards of offense. Sheehan threw for 309 yards and two scores.
Luella 49, Druid Hills 7: Jared Hendricks threw touchdown passes to Mannie Lowery and Trae Bonner, who also had a rushing score in host Luella’s blowout win. Gabe Smith also scored twice, getting a rushing score and a fumble return touchdown on defense. Kicker Andrew Roberts set a school record with seven extra points.
Mill Creek 55, Meadowcreek 6: Jacorey Lewis rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns on his way to becoming Mill Creek’s all-time leading rusher (1,875 yards). Daniel David hit Kyle Nichols for a 48-yard touchdown pass, and the Hawks scored twice on defense with a 26-yard fumble return by Chris Dickhute and a 67-yard interception return by Zac Turner.
Norcross 55, Habersham Central 0: Alvin Kamara scored on runs of 11, 4 and 3 yards in the Blue Devils’ home rout. Quarterback Joseph Wilber threw touchdown passes to Clinton Lynch (22 yards) and Trey Smith (65 yards), and Myles Autry returned a punt 76 yards for a touchdown. Norcross led 42-0 at the half.
North Gwinnett 42, Duluth 28: Quarterback Michael Haynes had three total touchdowns against visiting Duluth, one passing to Nate Brown and two rushing. Haynes finished with 145 yards rushing to lead the Bulldogs. Hayden Sphire was 10-of-12 passing with a touchdown throw, also to Brown, and Nick Andryuski and Cam Lewis had rushing scores for North Gwinnett.
South Gwinnett 61, Berkmar 14: The host South Gwinnett Comets used three quarterbacks to defeat Berkmar. Jordan Ramey threw four touchdowns against the Patriots, the longest being an 89-yard pass in the first quarter. He was replaced in the third quarter. Comets running back Josh Boyd added to the scoring with two rushing touchdowns.
Wheeler 17, Roswell 14: J.D. Barron hit the game-winning 49-yard field goal with two minutes to play to help Wheeler improve to 4-2, 1-2 in Region 5-AAAAAA. Quarterback Elijah Staley scored both of the Wildcats’ touchdowns on rushing scores, and was 10-of-16 passing for 97 yards. Kyonte’ Maxwell added 56 yards rushing for visiting Wheeler.

Allatoona 41, New Manchester 13: Playing host to New Manchester, the Buccaneers were lead by T.J. Herron who had 110 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Austin Daniels added a touchdown off of a blocked punt. Josh Bautista caught a 39-yard touchdown and also rushed for a score for Allatoona.
Clarke Central 37, Salem 0: After running out to a 27-0 lead at the half, the host Gladiators cruised behind two touchdowns from Jalani Payne. Clarke Central scored the first points of the game on a recovered fumble in the end zone for a touchdown. Quarterback Cameron Johnson threw two touchdowns to Jaquan Dowdy for 10 and 34 yards.
Creekside 21, Starr’s Mill 3: The visiting Creekside Seminoles were led by Evan and Elliot Berry in their victory over the Starr’s Mill Panthers. Evan Berry rushed for 97 yards in the game, 54 of which came on a touchdown run. He also got a 49-yard touchdown pass. Elliot Berry had a 51-yard touchdown run.
Creekview 21, Sequoyah 6: Quarterback Hayden Hall propelled the host Creekview Grizzlies to victory against county-rival Sequoyah. Hall threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Will Kirby in the first quarter and rushed for another in the third quarter. Chandler Wold also scored for the Grizzlies on a 13-yard touchdown run. Sequoyah scored in the second quarter but missed the PAT.
Forsyth Central 40, North Springs 6: The visiting Bulldogs were dominant on both sides of the ball in a victory over North Springs. Shay Hollis rushed for two scores and Jeremiah Jones caught two of Michael Branigan’s passes for touchdowns. Central racked up 443 total yards while limiting the Spartans to 106 yards of offense.
Heritage-Conyers 37, Winder-Barrow 12: Obe Fortune had a rushing and receiving touchdown for the visiting Patriots, and three other Heritage players — Myron Fears, Dominique Packer and Tyler Weaver — also had rushing scores. Myles Hunter and Braxton Morton had interceptions for Heritage.
Hiram 31, Lithia Springs 10: The visiting Hornets took advantage of turnovers to defeat Lithia Springs. Hornets linebacker Kevin Mitchell returned a fumble 40 yards for a touchdown. Defensive lineman Devin Pogue recovered two fumbles for Hiram. Roderick Harrison scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak for the Hornets. Chris Miller had a 20-yard rushing touchdown as well for Hiram.
Kell 35, Riverwood 7: The visiting Kell Longhorns were led by running back Khalil Bell’s two rushing touchdowns. Brendan Langley also added to the scoring for the Longhorns with a 53 yard touchdown run. Kell quarterback Matthew McGuigan threw a 27-yard touchdown to Taylor Henkle and rushed three yards for a touchdown.
Pope 21, Osborne 0: Quarterback Stephen Skruck took advantage of athletic plays by his wide receivers by throwing two touchdown passes, one to Logan Carr and the other to Ben Doran for the visiting Greyhounds. Running back Itabari Mason added a rushing score for Pope. The Greyhounds improved to 4-1 on the season.
Union Grove 21, Ola 7: Special teams played a big role in the Wolverines’ win over visiting Ola. Dalton Tumlin blocked a punt and Demetrius Jackson blocked a field goal to set up Union Grove touchdowns. Running back Derrick Crane rushed for two scores and Caleb Ham caught a pass from Jonathan Slade to cap the scoring for Union Grove.

Carrollton 44, Fayette County 13: The visiting Trojans rushed for 352 yards including 158 by quarterback Trey Chivers. Carrollton led 24-0 at the half and five Trojans ran for touchdowns. Fayette County rushed for 293 yards, but was 2-for-9 on third down and 1-for-5 on fourth down and had three turnovers.
Chamblee 21, Redan 7: The host Bulldogs beat Redan using a strong rushing attack that ran for three touchdowns, including one by Dezmin Reed. Redan kept it close in the second half after trailing 14-0 going into the third period.
Jonesboro 26, North Clayton 8: Running back Patrick Petty, out injured last week, scored three times for the visiting Cardinals on runs of four and five yards, and on a 12-yard reception. Wide receiver Cameron Sutton, a Tennessee commit, scored from 20 yards out on a direct snap.
Stockbridge 31, Eagle’s Landing 7: The visiting Tigers beat Eagle’s Landing behind three rushing touchdowns. Malik Bryant had 100 yards and a score. Maetron Thomas added a 60-yard touchdown run and Trenton Earl threw for 150 yards and rushed for a touchdown. Place kicker Andrus Guillen tacked on three field goals, two from 42 yards and one from 26 yards.

Buford 61, West Hall 0: The third quarter was one to remember for Buford in the Wolves’ easy victory over the Spartans. The Wolves needed only three plays from scrimmage to score five touchdowns, capitalizing on a fumble recovery and two interception returns for scores. Dontravious Wilson led the ground attack with three scores on 10 carries for 201 yards.
Dawson County 45, Banks County 9: The visiting Dawson County Tigers used three quarterbacks to dispatch Banks County. Tigers starting quarterback Tyler Dominy completed 15 of his 21 passes for 333 yards and an impressive six touchdowns. Bruce Clark added three more touchdowns and 135 yards through the air for Dawson County. Chris Sailor passed for two touchdowns and 118 yards.
North Oconee 35, Morgan County 7: Visiting Morgan County could not stop Titans running back Kawon Bryant from rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Bryant also added a 62-yard touchdown reception for North Oconee. Titans quarterback Nick Colvin threw two touchdowns on the night, one to Bryant and the other to Joel Hicks. Hicks caught two passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Thomson 36, Greater Atlanta Christian 27: The visiting Bulldogs rushed for 325 yards, including 200 from running back Chris Jordan. The Spartans led 20-15 at the half, but Jordan scored twice in the second half. Greater Atlanta Christian quarterback Rafe Chapple threw for 326 yards with three scores and three interceptions.
St. Pius 34, McNair 0: The Golden Lions outgained the visiting McNair Panthers 312 yards to 73 yards. Golden Lions running back Ryan Braswell rushed 20 times for 91 yards and three touchdowns. His 91 yards were part of St. Pius’ 242 rushing yards on the night. St. Pius quarterback Jack Spear threw for 70 yards and one touchdown.
Washington County 48, Lovett 35: The host Golden Hawks rushed for 456 yards and six touchdowns and jumped out to a 21-7 lead over Lovett. Lions quarterback Willie Candler was 18-of-27 for 232 yards and three touchdowns. Candler also rushed for 46 yards and a score. His touchdown passes were to Alston White, Arthur Winborne and Jack McGranahan.
Woodward Academy 33, Decatur 14: Quarterback Terry Googer rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another for visiting Woodward Academy. Googer completed his scoring pass to Benji Russell for 37 yards while his rushing scores went for 4, 5 and 1 yard. The War Eagles outscored Decatur 16-0 in the second half.

Athens Academy 14, Prince Avenue Christian 7: The visiting Spartans scored in the fourth quarter to beat crosstown rival Prince Avenue Christian. The Spartans were led by Austin Schulte who threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns. The two scores were caught by Bobby Marshburn and Jordan Lawson who had 62 yards and 101 yards receiving, respectively. Conner Sibley added a 14-yard touchdown run for the Wolverines.
Landmark Christian 30, Our Lady of Mercy 27 (OT): Landmark Christian answered Our Lady of Mercy’s overtime field goal with a 2-play drive, as Josh Nobles took a reverse 14 yards to the one and Stockton McGuire had the game-winning quarterback sneak. The War Eagles needed a 22-yard field goal as regulation ended to force overtime against visiting Our Lady of Mercy. Jeremiah Kirkland rushed 21 times for 253 yards and three touchdowns for Landmark.
Pace Academy 33, Strong Rock Christian 14: The visiting Pace Academy Knights were propelled by Denzel Franklin’s three rushing touchdowns. Franklin rushed 17 times for 233 yards. Trevor Cefalu also added a touchdown catch for the Knights. Pace Academy also had three players make seven tackles against Strong Rock Christian.
St. Francis 48, Cross Keys 24: The host Knights scored six touchdowns and place kicker Brennan Bauschka was perfect on two field goals and six extra points for St. Francis. Grayson McClain scored two rushing touchdowns and James Kelley scored once rushing and returned a punt for a score. Quarterback Joey Roche for two score as well for the Knights.
Whitefield Academy 43, Fellowship Academy 14: The host WolfPack won behind 263 total rushing yards. They were lead by Richard Sherrell, who rushed for 171 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns. Everett Pollard completed 7 of 11 for 57 yards and two touchdowns while adding 66 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
