North Cobb upset No. 4 Hillgrove and returns to the Score Atlanta rankings as a result. The win gave the Warriors’ the signature win they had been lacking.
Also in Class AAAAAA, Peachtree Ridge returned to the poll at No. 10.
Classes AAAA and AAAAA each remained the same, as no ranked teams met defeat.
Washington County picked up its second quality win in a row, this one a 40-0 shellacking of Jefferson County. The win came one week after the Golden Hawks’ overtime victory over Class AA No. 1 Lovett. WaCo ascended to No. 2 in Class AAA due to their impressive performances.
In Class AA, Northeast Macon debuted after Rabun County lost to Jefferson.
And in Class A-Public, Marion County took over at No. 1 after Irwin County was shocked by Clinch County. ECI returned to the rankings at No. 10.
