The Falcons could be officially eliminated from the playoffs before they take the field Sunday against the New York Jets.A victory by Dallas Saturday over New Orleans would knock the Falcons (6-7) out of the playoffs. The Cowboys would have a 9-5 record with two games remaining and, by virtue of their win over the Falcons in October, hold the tiebreaker if the Falcons won their final three games to finish 9-7.
