The football team got its second win of the season on Oct. 10 against Morrow, defeating the Mustangs 20-7. On the year, Morrow has one win, beating Mundy’s Mill by one point two weeks ago. Trying to maintain the momentum from their victory over Morrow, the Falcons fell a bit short against the Raiders from Riverdale, falling by the score of 25-21. After a furious comeback, Pebblebrook had the ball on the Raider 6-yard line with 26 seconds remaining in the game, but four incomplete passes from Kendrick Peeples sealed the Raider victory. Falcon running back Moses Moulds was the team’s best on the day, running for 83 yards and a touchdown. For Pebblebrook, missed opportunities took their toll, as the team recovered three Raider fumbles but failed to convert any into points. This Friday the team faces the Newnan Cougars, whose opponents have scored a total of 22 points on them this season. Pebblebrook currently sits second from last in the region. … The volleyball team dropped three games last week to end its season, falling to East Paulding twice and to Harrison once.
