Cross country teams to face tough competition at Wesleyan Invitational

The volleyball team finished the regular season with a win over Grady. The win raised Paideia’s record to .500 at 9-9. The Pythons finished one game below .500 last year at 6-7. Now the team will play in the Area 4 AA/A tournament this week. After playing two matches on Tuesday (results were not available at press time), the Lady Pythons face Hebron Christian Academy on Thursday at 5 p.m. They also face the Providence School on Saturday. … Both the boys and girls cross country teams are facing a very busy two weeks with two pivotal races on the docket. They run in the Wesleyan Invitational this Saturday. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. and features some of the best teams in the state. Among them are two ranked teams from Heritage. Meanwhile, the Wesleyan boys and girls are both ranked No. 1 in Class A. The teams host St. Francis on Oct. 25. The race starts at 11 a.m. and it will be run at Winnona Park Elementary.
